Paw Yes Toy Safety Guidelines

Last updated: May 2026

At Paw Yes, your dog’s safety is everything. Our toys are designed for fun, enrichment, and joyful chaos — but safe play always comes first. Please read and follow the guidelines below to help keep your dog happy and protected during playtime.

Supervised Play Only

Paw Yes toys are designed for interactive play. Always supervise your dog during use, especially with tug toys, rope toys, and felt items.

Not a Chew Toy

Unless specifically labelled as chew‑friendly, Paw Yes toys are not intended for chewing.

Remove the toy immediately if your dog:

  • Begins chewing aggressively

  • Attempts to shred or tear pieces off

  • Tries to ingest any part of the toy

Inspect Before Each Use

Before every play session, check your dog’s toy for:

  • Loose threads

  • Fraying

  • Tears or punctures

  • Damaged rope or felt

  • Missing pieces

If the toy shows signs of wear, discontinue use and replace it.

Choose the Right Toy for Your Dog

Select toys that match your dog’s:

  • Size

  • Strength

  • Play style

Paw Yes toys are not suitable for heavy chewers.

Water Play Safety

For floating toys:

  • Always supervise your dog around water

  • Ensure your dog is confident and safe in aquatic environments

  • Avoid deep or fast‑moving water

Floating toys are designed for fetch, not for chewing.

Indoor & Outdoor Use

Some toys are suitable for both indoor and outdoor play. Always ensure the play area is safe, free from hazards, and appropriate for your dog’s energy level.

Keep Toys Clean

Regularly clean your dog’s toys to maintain hygiene.

  • EVA foam toys: rinse with clean water and air‑dry

  • Felt toys: spot clean only; do not soak

  • Rope toys: allow to dry fully after water play

Not a Child’s Toy

Paw Yes toys are designed for pets only. Keep out of reach of children.

Ingestion Warning

If your dog swallows any part of a toy:

  • Remove the toy immediately

  • Contact your veterinarian for advice

When to Replace a Toy

Replace your dog’s toy if:

  • It becomes damaged or unsafe

  • Pieces begin to detach

  • It no longer functions as intended

Regular replacement helps keep playtime safe.
